Day of Caring is an ongoing effort to feed the hungry and the homeless in our community highlighted by an Annual Pancake Breakfast, our main fund-raising event of the year. We are proud to announce the fourteenth Annual Pancake Brunch will be held on Sunday, February, 25th  2007. 

The Pancake Brunch is actually many brunches held simultaneously by the numerous communities involved in Day of Caring. Currently we serve three menus:

Pancake Brunch - Pancakes, Sausage, Syrup, Butter,

Indian Food - Chicken Curry, Vegetables, Rice, Nan,Dal, Raita

In addition to the above menus, certain sites may provide some additional items provided by their supporters. Please note that the above menus are not mandatory. While we encourage a Pancake Brunch, we recognize the need to be flexible, so if you would like to offer a different menu we would be glad to include it in our list.

We are continually looking to expand with the inclusion of new sites (Site Registration Form). For all new sites recruited we will hold a one-day workshop. At this workshop, we will run through the entire process involved in setting up, staffing, and running a site. Please revisit our website (News Section) at a later date for the exact date and time of the workshop. A manual detailing a step-by-step approach will be provided for each site at the workshop.
